Ambanja Panther Chameleons

A coastal town adjacent to Nosy Be, these animals have also been long coveted by hobbyists. The predominant sub-locale varieties have a background that can range from forest green, to lime green, to aqua, to almost yellow. Vertical bars can be red or maroon, to the more brilliant neon blue, sky blue, and sometimes purple. Nearby turquoise blues have more of a dark gray background, with vertical bars ranging from maroon to purple. Those from nearer to Ankify tend to have the lightest color backgrounds, with a high percentage of blue in their bars.
