Tamatave Panther Chameleons

An east coast town, the males from this area are predominantly red, with shades of orange intermixed, and distinctive and boldly marked patterns on the head. We currently include the Maroantsetra variation, north of Tamatave, as a sub-local of this variation, as chameleons from Maroantsetra are similar to the greener variations of the Tamatave locale, and thus are not significantly different.
